After 21 yrs. with a sunbleached deck that never was enjoyable because of the sun and heat, Marion tore it off for a new porch to be built. We were getting a new roof at the same time so doing something about the deck seemed wise. There is a 4ft. walkway from the house to the porch because its roof couldn't connect to our existing roof. We spent many restful, cool hours out there this summer and fall reading, resting, and entertaining.
